This release is a remix compilation based around the sounds from one track. The original mix brings the release in on a slightly tripped out half tempo techno feel, backed up with syncopated synth bleeps and jazzy chords. The release also includes remixes by Joe Ellis, J-Lab, Leif and Screaming Kids; who all provide their own interpretation of the title track.

Here we have Joe's long awaited debut EP. Joe Ellis' blend of deep house grooves and minimal tech are shining through on this release, with four tracks of quality laid back dance floor sounds. The track "Wool" serves up a plate of glitch beats, seasoned with discordant keys and percussive cuts, while "Hero to Zero" sounds like a deep acid trip in a busy spanish cafe! Tom Ellis gives us his interpretation of the track "So Said" with the "Said So remix".The whole release carries a deep and minimal theme throughout, but you can definitely still hear Joe's house roots showing through.

Trimsound kicks off the free netlabel with a 10-track various artists LP… featuring in-house artists Tom & Leif alongside some newcomers to the Trimsound family. “Sitting Ducks” offers a plethora of sonic delights for your perusal; from the moving ambient textures of Duckett through the minimal shuffle-grooves of Joe Ellis and the booty-shakin’ funk of Ralph Sliwinski.
This monster of a launch release is firmly gelled together by Tom Ellis’ Dancefloor killer “Computer says hello” and the more delicately subtle flavours of “boring device”, while Leif offers a dubby yet driving track to work the dancefloor in his classic style.
